I’m filled with gratitude and excitement as I begin my third year teaching third grade at The Catholic Academy of Stamford. Being part of the CAS community and the opportunity to educate my students academically while helping them grow in their Catholic faith has been one of the most rewarding parts of my teaching journey.

As a proud graduate of Stamford Public Schools, from kindergarten through 12th grade, I was fortunate to have many wonderful educators who inspired and shaped the teacher I am today. My passion for working with children began early through childcare, lifeguarding, babysitting, and tutoring, and I always knew teaching was the path I wanted to pursue.

One of my favorite parts of teaching at CAS is helping students recognize and celebrate what makes them uniquely themselves. I strive to create a classroom where every child feels loved, supported, confident, and encouraged to use the gifts God has given them. I especially enjoy incorporating our Catholic faith into daily learning and guiding my students to grow into kind, compassionate individuals who value faith, respect, and love for others.

Third grade holds a special place in my heart. It is a year full of growth, independence, curiosity, and personality! I love watching students become more confident learners, take on new challenges, build meaningful friendships, and discover more about who they are. My goal is for our classroom to be a place where students feel excited to learn each day, comfortable being themselves, and proud to be part of the CAS community.

I am also passionate about continuing to grow as an educator. After earning my Master of Science in Literacy (Reading K–12) from Grand Canyon University, I continued my studies there and am currently pursuing my Sixth-Year Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, with an anticipated graduation date of June 2027.

It is truly a blessing to continue my journey at CAS, and I look forward to another wonderful year filled with learning, laughter, faith, growth, and meaningful connections with my students and their families.
