I’m filled with gratitude and excitement as I begin my second year teaching third grade at The Catholic Academy of Stamford. Becoming part of the CAS community and having the opportunity to share and teach the Catholic faith has truly been one of the most rewarding decisions of my life.
As a proud graduate of Stamford Public Schools—from kindergarten through 12th grade—I’ve always been inspired by the passionate educators who shaped my journey. That early
inspiration led me to pursue a career in teaching. My experience working with children began at age 16 as a mother’s helper and lifeguard at Newfield Swim Club, and quickly grew to include
babysitting and tutoring opportunities throughout the community.
After graduating from Stamford High School, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Southern Connecticut State University, with concentrations in History, Literature, and Language. I’m currently pursuing my Master of Science in Literacy (K–12) at Grand Canyon University, with an expected graduation in May 2026.
My teaching journey began with student teaching in first grade at Strawberry Hill School, where I later served as a building substitute and took on long-term roles in sixth-grade ELA and fifth-grade STEM. Each of these roles has helped shape my growth as an educator and
deepened my passion for teaching.
It is truly a blessing to continue growing at CAS, and I’m looking forward to another year o llearning, faith, and meaningful connections with my students and their families!
