My name is Maureen Valenti and I am filled with joy to be beginning my sixth year at CAS. I have lived in Connecticut since 2001 and love it very much. I have always dreamed of becoming a teacher and this was accomplished by receiving my teacher certification and Master’s Degree from Sacred Heart University in 2005. I live with my husband Robert and we enjoy a happy and peaceful life. We enjoy traveling to Maine during the summer, going to restaurants and attending mass at St. Cecilia/ St. Gabriel Parish. I am most at peace when taking walks, reading, praying, gardening, and most of all visiting Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. Two other important things to note is my love for coffee and chocolate. I am filled with love to share with each student and am inspired by the curiosity and observations of children. I look forward to exciting new beginnings under the leadership of Mr. Chris Robertson. My door is always open to anyone who would like to visit. I hope our classroom environment will be a home away from home, with Jesus at the center.
