I was born and raised in Barranquilla, Colombia, so Spanish is my native tongue. I got married and I moved to The United States in 1999. I live in Stamford with my husband and son.
I began my career as a teacher in Colombia and I worked at both private and public schools.
In 2000 I was hired by the Diocese of Bridgeport as a Spanish Teacher. I taught at All Saints Catholic School in Norwalk for 12 years. In 2013 I began teaching at Trinity Catholic Middle School and now I am very fortunate to be part of the Catholic Academy of Stamford.
I love teaching in a Catholic school because our religious beliefs prepare children for the future by providing them with a Christian foundation that will allow them to keep their faith alive and present in their lives.
