I performed in plays from a young age. I received a BFA in musical theater from the University of Michigan and moved to NYC to pursue acting. When I wasn’t performing, I worked with children in schools who needed academic and social support. I found this role to be challenging and fulfilling. I decided to go to Bank Street Teachers College and pursue a Masters in Early Childhood Education. I completed this degree while working at The Parkside School where I was the kindergarten teacher for students with language based learning needs. This was a role I really loved. I am excited for the opportunity to teach at Catholic Academy of Stamford as the special education teacher.
