KofC GeoBee Champions! 🏆

John Pitrelli, KofC Council 29 Geography Bee Chairman noted that “Eduardo’s knowledge of Oklahoma, the Merrimack River, Mount Washington, Lake Michigan, Crater Lake, Saskatchewan, the states and provinces bordering Quebec, Spain, Jerusalem, Panama, Iran, Mali, Algeria, Sri Lanka, Brazil facing Angola and Namibia across the Atlantic, and the countries of Southeast Asia, that he displayed yesterday while in 5th grade, was truly inspirational to all present”.  23 students from 9 schools took on 135 questions over 18 intense rounds of world and North American geography!

The Catholic Academy of Stamford also made history, becoming the first school to have a winner three years in a row! 

Big shoutout to:

• Caleb Kwan (7th grade) – 4th place, battled into the 11th round!

• Julian Reiff (8th grade) – Tied for 11th place, made it to the 6th round!
