Friday, October 4th is the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, the Patron Saint of animals.

At 1:30pm Fr. Mariusz will say a blessing over all pets behind the school building. Families who are interested in attending and bringing your pet need to be aware:

• Parents or grandparents should bring your pet around1:15pm and gather behind the school building by the tent

• No pets should be brought to school by students in the morning.

• If you are unable to bring your pet, you should send a picture of your pet with your child

• All dogs must be on the leash or held

• Other pets whose habitat is a cage, they must be in the cage

• During the ceremony students whose parents and pet are present may stand together

• No RSVP is necessary.
