I began my career in the corporate world of banking and financial software working in the US, and abroad in Spain and England. While living in Spain, I earned a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Spanish from the University of Madrid and hiked the “Camino de Santiago” (1,000 km over 35 days), one of the oldest Catholic pilgrimage routes in the world. After living and working abroad for 7 years, my wife and I moved back to the US and settled in Harrison, New York. I went back to school at night to obtain a Masters of Education in Teaching (MAT) from Manhattanville College in Purchase, NY.
I started teaching in the Diocese of Bridgeport in 2016 at St. Cecilia’s in Stamford and have been teaching at this location for St. Cecilia’s and now the Catholic Academy of Stamford since 2016. At the Catholic Academy of Stamford, I have had the pleasure of teaching Physical Education and Spanish for students in Grades PK3 – Grade 8 and Coaching Basketball and Soccer as the Athletic Director of CAS. Prior to teaching in the Diocese, I taught Physical Education for Grades K-5 and coached Soccer, Basketball and Softball in my hometown of Harrison, NY. My wife and I have a daughter who attends Villanova University and plays on the Villanova Club Soccer Team.
Growing up in a household that values education (my mom was a school teacher for over 30 years), I understand and embrace my role as an educator and as a leader in the community. In addition to teaching and coaching, I am the President of the Harrison Youth Soccer Club (HYSC). My favorite activities outside of school are running, skiing, soccer, swimming, basketball, fitness, hiking, and traveling with my wife and our daughter.
